Rita Amaga Umortiamye, born on February 4, 1986, in Ibadan, Oyo State, hails from Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State. She began her education at Abadina Primary School, Ibadan, and obtained her WAEC from Government Secondary School, Calabar. Rita holds a B.Sc. in Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology from Cross River State University of Science and Technology. She is pursuing an M.Sc. in the same field at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. Her research focuses on phytoplankton and zooplankton in water quality assessment. A devoted Christian, she values faith, integrity, and environmental stewardship.
Okereafor Henry brings over 13 years of experience in field and laboratory research from respected institutions, including Reliable Research Laboratory and Emery Research Laboratory in Umuahia, Abia State. His work covers remediation studies, water-quality analysis, and shelf life evaluations. He has contributed to innovative research using mushrooms and Bacillus subtilis to remediate oil-polluted soils. Henry holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Science and Resource Management and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Toxicology, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing environmental sustainability and pollution control.
