The Oguta Wetlands Legacy Project provides families and friends with a wonderful opportunity to honor a loved oneās memory and ensure that the departed is recognized and remembered āeternallyā.
OWI Endowment Fund ā Key Objectives
Our team is built by passionate donors and hands-on volunteersātwo forces driving one mission to restore the Oguta wetlands.
- Ensure Long-Term Stewardship: Secure the sustainable management and protection of wetlands for the next 50 to 100 years.
- Ensures the āeternal remembranceā of departed Oguta sons and daughters: Departed Ogutaās son and/or daughter will be known and recognized āeternallyā by future generations.
- Your contribution supports the sustainable operations of the Oguta Wetlands Initiative ā from sample collection, testing & analysis, habitat restoration and biodiversity protection to community education and youth engagement.

Memorial Support Donor Level I
Minimum Contribution: ā¦1,000,000.00
As a Memorial Support Donor, your loved oneās name becomes part of the living story of conservation and renewal in Oguta.
Recognition includes:
- Enduring Tribute: Honor the memory of departed loved ones through lasting recognition.
- Digital Memorial: Feature their photo and biography of up to 200 words on our official website.

Memorial Support Donor Level II
Minimum Contribution: ā¦2,000,000.00
As a Memorial Support Donor, your loved oneās name becomes part of the living story of conservation and renewal in Oguta.
Recognition includes:
- Enduring Tribute: Honor the memory of departed loved ones through lasting recognition.
- Digital Memorial: Feature their photo and biography of up to 350 words on our official website.
š¾ Legacy Option 3: Memorial Project Sponsorship
This level of legacy giving allows you to fund a dedicated conservation or community project in memory of your loved one.
Your sponsored project will carry their name ā a lasting symbol of hope, growth, and impact.

Project Patron
Contribution Range: ā¦2,000,00 and above
Sponsor a specific component of a conservation or eco-community project, such as a tree restoration cluster, eco-education plot, or water-quality improvement station.
Recognition includes:
- Honoreeās name featured on a project plaque
- Framed impact report with photos and project details
- Listing on the Digital Wall of Remembrance
- Invitation to the annual Legacy Appreciation Event

Legacy Builder
Contribution Range: TBD
This tier funds a signature conservation or community development project designed and executed entirely in the honoreeās name ā such as a wetland restoration zone, fishery revival site, or eco-learning center.
Recognition includes:
- A dedicated project named after your loved one
- Commemorative plaque installed on-site
- Personalized video and photo documentation of the projectās progress
- Annual impact visitation and report
- Lifetime listing in the Legacies of Life archive
